• TMLIRP is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members, Opal Mauldin-Jones (Place 9) and Brad Stafford (Place 4).

• Reminder that the Pool will not be sending out rerate exposure summaries to members (with the exception of a small group). Please continue to update your schedules through the portal or by contacting your MSM. The underwriting department has started processing rerates and will send renewal information as quickly as possible. Be on the lookout for more information regarding rates and renewals in the coming week.

Texas Legislature: A Quick Pool-Related Update

TMLIRP's Safer In Seconds Series on YouTube

TMLIRP’s Safer in Seconds vidoes on YouTube are intended to be a conversational tool about working safely and to contribute to members’ proactive safety culture. The goal is to engage member supervisors and employees by providing real world examples and tips to lower the risk of injuries and property damage.

The videos can be meeting starters, individual reminders, or pathways to learning more about risk management issues that affect local governments. Bottom line – we want everyone to go home at the end of their workdays as good or better than they arrived. We partner with our members to protect employees, citizens, and property. 

The videos are also an introduction into TMLIRP’s longer training for in-person groups.

Cyber Security Awareness Training
It’s time to complete your annual cyber training. The annual cyber training requirement is due to the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) by June 15. The Pool’s cyber security training will not change for this year and is DIR approved.  You can access this training through the Pool’s website, Youtube channel, or online learning center.
